KaapiKaapi’s premium Café Espresso Sena blend of medium dark roasted coffee beans from Central & South America, Africa  & South India thats full bodied and low acidity.

Focusing on Brazil, Uganda, Ethiopia & Colombia's goodness brought to the forefront with a sweet Indian origin, expect a bold coffee with heaps of crema and notes of Dark Chocolate, malt, spice, earth, walnut and roasted almond.

Designed for those who love their lattes and flat whites or a very bold black coffee for the not-so faint-hearted. Sena also goes well with alternate milk such as soy and almond.

Sena Espresso blend is specially crafted for cafes and KaapiKaapi is now sold across select cafes in Sydney.

All our blends are batch roasted in Sydney in a HACCP food safety management approved facility. Expertly Crafted. Lovingly Roasted. By Veteran Master Roaster who's blends were instrumental in being awarded world barista championship (names withheld due to privacy reasons).

Our espresso blends have also been enjoyed by customers with Aeropress and Stovetops, with some very positive feedback.

A nice blend that competes well with more 'known' roasters

I have tried several roasters over the past 7 years with varying results. My normal go to roasters are Seven Miles and Artisti for use in my 2 group expresso machine.
I like to try a different roaster every few months to compare.
The Kaapi roaster popped up on FB a couple of weeks back with the black friday sale so I ordered some.
Well.. after a week of brewing I am pleased with these beans and will add them to my go to list.

Two things I noticed is there is no Roasted Date or recommended dosage/brew recipe on the pack or card supplied like most roasters do.

Rich Flavour, no bitterness

Enjoying the rich coffee flavour, and no bitterness. (Using it with milk - provides great strength and flavour through the milk.)

Worth it

Smooth flavour and great taste with a strong caffeine hit. Still great value for the price, cafe quality
